Meet Our Leader: Lady Sharmaine Russell

First Lady | Director of Women’s Ministry | Licensed Minister | Servant Leader 

Leading our ministry with grace, wisdom, and a heart for people is First Lady Sharmaine Russell. A licensed Minister of the Gospel and a living example of the Proverbs 31 woman, Lady Sharmaine is dedicated to helping women rediscover their self-worth and transform their lives through a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Lady Sharmaine brings a unique blend of spiritual depth and practical excellence to Greater Friendship. As a successful Real Estate professional with Keller Williams Preferred Realty and the Founder/CEO of Plant-Mazing, she understands the modern woman’s juggle between career, health, and home. She views her work in the marketplace as an extension of her ministry—helping families build legacies and empowering underserved communities toward healthier living.

Affectionately known for her "Honey-Do Ministry," Lady Sharmaine is a servant leader at heart. Whether she is teaching plant-based wellness, helping a family achieve homeownership, or leading our women in prayer, she does so with an approachable, down-to-earth spirit that makes everyone feel welcome.

Family & Faith

While she wears many hats, Lady Sharmaine’s first ministry is her family. For over 20 years, she has walked in divine partnership with her husband, Pastor B. Charvez Russell. Together, they lead a beautiful, blended, and blessed family of seven children and eight grandchildren.

Her life and leadership are anchored in her favorite scripture:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
